I had to stay in a shelter with my two year old son on the other side of the country when my husband tried to kidnap him for ransom money. We were both scared and isolated and in need of help. That’s why, two years later, I do monthly drops of emergency Go-Bags for women in Safe Nest Domestic Violence (DV) Shelters in Las Vegas.

I remember not having toiletries or knowing where my phone charger was. In 2016 I needed a pen and paper, I was stressed and started my cycle, didn’t have my wallet because of my circumstances and couldn’t pay for sanitary products. Nothing. This experience of mine guided my hand to create these bags and now I’m trying to let other women who have successfully made it to safe situations be aware that there’s a way to help someone else.

In 2018, many of us are struggling with finances, some of us may be missing loved ones because we’ve had to move far away, and others might find themselves in one of the most difficult situations in the world. With so much happening in the world today there are still those who are in a position to help others and this is why Bella’s Apothecary exists.

Bella's Village consists of people who believe in the mission of helping people in need and want to support Bella's Apothecary in its endeavor to supply emergency Go-Bags to Safe Nest Shelters in Las Vegas. These bags contain necessities that survivors in transition will find useful like basic toiletries and note taking supplies. In addition to that, each bag will also contain a sample of the Malady Quick Fix - Topical Pain Reliever to help with bruising and inflammation that could be common ailments affecting those escaping abusive situations.

Go-Bag Sponsors have tiered levels of contribution so that everyone is offered the opportunity to help no matter the amount of the contribution. However, sponsorship is only available to those who subscribe to contribute monthly, or contribute in bulk for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. Subscriptions are available by using the PayPal options below. Associate Level Sponsor

This is the perfect sponsor level for those able to give anywhere between $5, $10, $15 or $20 per month. Each bag costs about $5 each, so it can be easy to work a consistent contribution into your budget that will make a difference. To see what items are included in the Go-Bags, click here. Associates that have given consistently for a year will automatically be moved up to the Friend level.

Friend Level Sponsor

Being a Friend level sponsor of the Go-Bags means you're able to give $25, $50, or $75 per month. Friends are people who are passionate about helping and your contributions will make it possible to increase the amount of bags being donated per month. For every pair of Friend level sponsors, Bella's Apothecary will add 15 more Go-Bags and begin compiling bags for children. Children in shelters is a very unfortunate side effect of domestic abuse and they often accompany the parent needing resources. While parents are in transition, it helps to have a coloring book, or crayons and toiletries for children also and your gifts will help with that. Each Friend level donor will get a free sample of the Malady Quick Fix - Topical Pain Reliever as a thank you for being a helping hand to those going through traumatic situations. Friends that give consistently for a year will be elevated to a Benefactor Level Sponsor.

Benefactor Level Sponsor

There are two ways to become a benefactor of Bella's Village. The first of which is to give $100-$200 monthly. The financial contribution will add 20 - 40 more bags each month which will help meet the growing need in Las Vegas. Benefactor level sponsors that qualified by making financial contributions will be sent a full size bottle of the Malady Quick Fix - Topical Pain Reliever once per month.

The second way to qualify as a Benefactor level sponsor is to donate actual supplies for the Go-Bags. To see which items are included in the bags, click here. This is a wonderful opportunity to advertise your brand while also helping people in need. These bags go out to people in Las Vegas, but this is a transitory city and people here travel everywhere. Having your items in these bags is like letting feathers go in the wind, they're bound to end up everywhere! Benefactor level sponsors that donate items must donate in bulk for 3, 6, 9, or 12 months; 20 bags minimum per month. Your company name, tagline and website will also be advertised at BellasApothecary.com as well as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter as sponsors of the Go-Bags which will only increase your exposure.
