Inflammation, itching, redness and additional discoloration. All of these things can make life a little more than uncomfortable. If you're fine with constantly using antibiotics to combat the symptoms associated with psoriasis, eczema or rosacea then you can stop reading now, if not you may be interested in some natural solutions like essential oils. Because so many of the ingredients are natural painkillers, antiseptics, anti inflammatory and antibacterials it's easy to understand how this ointment offers relief for itching and discomfort from swelling. What you don't realize is that these same oils actually promote skin regeneration so healthy skin cells will grow back after the healing of a damaged area. There are more than 30 million people in the United States that have eczema. Many of them live right here in Las Vegas. The dry heat and lack of humidity make it easy for conditions like eczema to thrive. This skin-saving salve contains natural painkillers, antiseptics, anti-inflammatories, and antibacterials that all work together to soothe irritation from eczema. Applying it 2-3 times per day to clean skin will render results very quickly. Many other topical creams use unnecessary chemicals that aren't as effective long-term as would be desirable. Ingredients: myrrh, patchouli, lavender, geranium, bergamot, rosehip seed, tea tree, yarrow root tincture, eucalyptus, ylang ylang, benzoin, sulfur, helichrysum, chamomile, cinnamon, rosemary, thyme **Disclaimer: Results may vary. I've heard some critiques about soy wax and estrogen levels, but using a little on your lips isn't throwing your body chemistry off at all. The amount you would have to take in has to be so much more. SO worry not, this vegan alternative to beeswax is very safe and healthy for skin.
This is the recipe for a 100% organic lip balm made from soy wax (vegan alternative to beeswax), mango butter, sweet almond & coconut oils, tinted with Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics 100% vegan lip tars. The mango butter has vitamins A, C & E which help protect skin from sunburn, sooth sunburned skin & fight free radicals. Sweet almond oil acts as a skin friendly carrier for the essential oils added, but also contains vitamins A, E & D. It continues to be great for skin because it is also rich in oleic & linoleic acids. Benefits of Almond Oil for Skin
Coconut oil has too many benefits ♡ read here for more but in a nutshell it's anti-viral, antimicrobial, antibacterial and protects against about 20% of UV rays. If you can incorporate coconut oil into a recipe for hair, skin or nails; I highly suggest that you do. I also added essential oils to give some added benefits to each lip balm. Read here for an extended explanation of essential oils used in these lip balms and their benefits.
