For many of us, it's embarrassing to discuss ANYTHING surrounding our neither regions unless it's about waxing or sex. Unfortunately, there's a lot in between that doesn't get covered. One of those little-known facts is that bacterial infections are very common, and most are not sexually transmitted. Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is, in fact, more common than Yeast Infections because they can be brought on by an increase in stress or by eating too many carbs and sugars. Changes in one’s lifestyle, including sexual partners, can bring about BV. Often, we try Monistat or another OTC product that isn't meant to treat all vaginal infections and likely contains Isopropyl Myristate which can be very irritating to people that have sensitive skin, or when applied to sensitive areas. This is one of the reasons that I decided to create a natural alternative for popular products meant to fight vaginal infections. Polysorbate 60 is another ingredient with questionable side effects in high doses. It's basically a toxin that can cause tumor formations if you take too much. Now, I know you aren't shoving a massive supply of Monistat in your lady cave at one time, but for those of us who do have chronic infections, repeated usage of these products could slowly be introducing a dangerous amount of this chemical into your body through your vaginal canal which just makes it more offensive. This seems totally unnecessary when there are natural alternatives that are effective without the dangers. I started off using Coconut oil because of its antibacterial properties. The goal here is to fight off bacteria that throws your PH off, so it's a great base to start with. Adding a bit of thyme oil as a powerful antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral and antiseptic couple well with Tea Tree oil. If you're into natural health, you already know that Tea Tree is famous for being a very strong antiseptic but it's also an anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, antiviral and anti-infectious oil. The biggest surprise is probably the anti-fungal, anti-infectious, antimicrobial, antiseptic and antitoxic properties of Lavender. Most of us think lavender is only used in aromatherapy to help relax our nerves, but it can be used to heal much more tangible parts of your physical self. Eucalyptus partners well with these aforementioned oils as it boosts the antibacterial, anti-infectious, antiviral and antiseptic properties of this mix and is also skin safe without a carrier oil. It is strong but will not cause skin sensitivities or irritation to sensitive areas like other oils which is perfect to sooth discomfort caused by some of the bacterial infections that have historically made us have bad days. Remember when I said that Polysorbate 60 can cause tumor formations if taken in high doses? Well, the addition of Rosemary to this blend has cancer fighting properties which should help correct any possible damage that may have been caused by using popular OTC products with potentially harmful ingredients. It is also powerful anti-fungal and antibacterial fighting power which is helpful for fighting infections based in warm, damp places. Rosewood is the final stamp on this because it is such a well-rounded oil for infections. It is an antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-infectious agent, antiparasitic as well as an antiviral. Candida & BV infections can be very stubborn and hard to treat, so unforgiving oils like Rosewood help our bodies to eradicate these infections. Using Cinnamon essential oil actually enhances the effects of the other oils in the mix while increasing circulation while maintaining its own antibacterial punch. The only drawback to natural products is that they SOMETIMES do not work as quickly as their chemically laced counterparts. The tradeoff is the lack of harm done to our internal organs in the healing process. After all, it is counterproductive to cause any harm to yourself if it is avoidable. With the all-natural ingredients, including the 100% Vegetable Cellulose capsules, you can increase your dosage to deal with stubborn infections without worrying. So, keep your eyes peeled for when these are available! I make every single suppository by hand, so they're always limited! Some notes: Wear a panty liner while using these suppositories. What goes up, must come down, but it won't be messy like a cream. A small amount of coconut oil, or the vegetable capsule may come out which is completely normal, harmless and nowhere near as bad as alternative options. These also aren't thick like cream alternatives. Insert these right before you go to bed. Don't make a cup of tea afterwards, just go lay down. Vaginas can be very acidic, especially when combating an infection. So, lay down and allow your body to begin healing after you have inserted the suppositories. Also, store any extras in the refrigerator. You don't want them to melt everywhere! Recommendation: 2 suppositories per night for 3 nights for mild infections. For stronger infections, use 2 suppositories per night for 7 nights. Take the medication for 2 nights after symptoms have subsided for maximum results. What's in it? Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Thyme, Tea Tree, Lavender, Rosewood. 21 suppositories per bottle. **Disclaimer: All ingredients are 100% natural. However, please be careful of allergic reactions.
